Easy, rich and perfect on a winter day, our Hot Chocolate becomes a Holiday Snuggle with the addition of peppermint schnapps.
- One cup milk, any fat content
- 1 heaping teaspoon (or to taste) Sundae’s Best Fudge Sauce
- Whipped cream
- Piggsy Dust Peppermint Sprinkles.
Heat milk in microwave or on top of stove until very hot, but avoid boiling. Place fudge sauce in bottom of mug.* Pour hot milk over fudge sauce in mug and gently stir until blended. Stir in a tablespoon (or a jigger) of peppermint schnapps, if making these for grown-ups. Top with a healthy dollop of whipped cream, or a healthy spritz if using canned whipped cream. Sprinkle with Piggsy Dust.
*Preheating mugs will help retain the temperature of the milk. Use hefty stoneware mugs and fill with hot water. Let stand for a few minutes until stoneware is warm. Empty hot water before filling mug with fudge sauce and milk.
