“What’s for dinner?” is a question frequently asked, and this easy, flavorful chicken is a dependable reply. The simple ingredients are easy to keep on hand and it takes no special equipment, or much attention, either. It’s great when life demands that you multi-task.
- 1 chicken, cut up
- 5 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce or Bragg Liquid Aminos
- ¼ cup real maple syrup
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Generously coat a 9” x 13” baking dish with olive oil. Coat the chicken pieces with olive oil, rolling as you place them in the pan.
Stir soy sauce and maple syrup together. Pour evenly over chicken. Place fresh ginger on chicken pieces and salt and pepper to taste. Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes.
